About
I am a licensed psychologist in New Jersey, New York, and via telehealth in all PSYPACT states, providing psychotherapy services to adults and adolescents. My clients explore concerns related to depression; anxiety; identity; fertility, pregnancy, and parenting; trauma; eating and body image; family and romantic relationships; and grief. As a therapist, I create collaborative relationships with each client by providing non-judgmental, warm, and genuine support along with specific guidance.
I use multiple therapeutic approaches in my individual work, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness, existential approaches, and attachment based interventions. In my work with couples, I use elements from all of the above approaches along with Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Object Relations Couple Therapy.
My practice is LGBTQ+-affirming and antiracist. I use she/her pronouns.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I provide editing services for psychology researchers for whom English is a non-native language to improve the clarity of their research writing and improve their chances at acceptance for publication in peer-reviewed, English-language journals. I am also a copy editor for the journal Psychoanalytic Psychology and contribute to various research papers occasionally.
